ATS World launches DH20m warehouse in JAFZA


ATS World, a leading integrated logistics and supply chain company headquartered in Dubai, recently invested Dh20 million ($5.45 million) in a new warehouse facility located in Jafza-South.

The warehouse is strategically located to serve customers with faster distribution in the local region, said the company.

The new facility will add to ATS’s existing logistics capability located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza).

The warehouse, which spreads across 7500 sq m with a total capacity of 10,000 pallets, six loading/unloading bays with hydraulic dock levelers. The state-of-the-art warehouse is designed to store general cargo, dry cargo and non-hazardous cargo. It offers an extensive range of value added services such as distribution, cross documentation to meet diverse customer requirements with international standards.

Amit Gandhi, CEO of ATS, said: “Our new facility based in Jafza- South gives us the edge in terms of leverages the proximity to Expo 2020 site making it a favoured location to begin operations in view of the projected increase in economic growth in the coming years resulting from the mega event.
