ATS launches AED20-million JAFZA warehouse

ATS World has launched its new AED 20-million warehouse facility located in JAFZA- South.

The warehouse is strategically located to serve customers with faster distribution in the local region, the company said in a statement.

The new facility will add to ATS’s existing logistics capability located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza). The warehouse, spread across 7,500 sqm, has a total capacity of 10,000 pallet positions and 6 loading/unloading bays with hydraulic dock levelers.

The warehouse is designed to store general cargo, dry cargo and non-hazardous cargo. It offers an extensive range of value added services such as distribution and cross documentation to meet diverse customer requirements with international standards.

“Our new facility based in JAFZA- South gives us the edge in terms of leverages the proximity to Expo 2020 site making it a favoured location to begin operations in view of the projected increase in economic growth in the coming years resulting from the mega event,” said Amit Gandhi, CEO of ATS.

“We understand the need of the hour and reinforce our commitment in bridging the gaps within the market based on our customers’ needs,” he added.
